Volunteers sought for British Wheelchair Basketball Home Nations Cup

British Wheelchair Basketball has launched the new Home Nations Cup, a flagship event bringing together the refreshed National Junior Championships and Celtic Cup, taking place at the David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham.

It will be held on August 8 and 9 across three courts and include U14, U18 and Adult competitions, with teams from across the Home Nations coming together.

British Wheelchair Basketball are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to help make the weekend run smoothly and create a welcoming experience for players, coaches, officials and spectators.

There are a variety of roles available, including

  • Stewarding – welcoming visitors and supporting with venue operations
  • Court Managers – assisting on court with game logistics
  • Event Support Roles – helping with the engagement zone, team liaison, and general event delivery
