Welcome to Active Notts

Active Notts is one of 44 Active Partnerships (APs) covering England.

Active Notts is part of Active Partners Trust, a charitable trust supporting the work in Nottinghamshire and in Derbyshire via Active Derbyshire.

We work with partners to empower people to be active in a way that works for them and are funded by Sport England, along with the local authorities within Notts to support this work. We also work closely with so many partners across the voluntary sector and with other statutory bodies.

Some of the work we’re involved in is specific to Nottingham and Nottinghamshire so see below for more details on this.

I’d like to move more

If you want to move more or find groups or opportunities to be active, you’ll find this information here:

to move more

We believe everyone has a role to play in supporting people to be more active.  If you want to find a way to support people to be active or already play that role, you can find this information here:

Falls Prevention and Physical Activity Community of Practice

We have been learning the art of Co-production in helping to form and establishing a Community of Practice for falls and physical activity across all of Notts.

Walk Notts

Walk Notts is a newly created partnership which aims to bring together all partners working across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with an invested interest in walking, or those who can help to enable walking more.
