British Gas Energy for Tomorrow plans to expand its grassroots sports sustainability crowdfunding programme after a successful 2025 pilot with Team GB and Paralympics GB. The pilot enabled five clubs to reach their fundraising targets and secure £141,000 for energy-saving upgrades.

The fund now aims to help clubs reduce energy costs through measures such as solar panels, heat pumps, LED lighting and improved insulation.

To be eligible to apply, organisations must be: UK based CICs, Charities, CASC’s, registered community groups or other not-for-profit organisations or Community Benefit Societies.

Applications close on 27th March 2026.
