The National Lottery Community Fund’s Step Forward Fund offers grants of £100,000 to £225,000 over two to three years for grassroots organisations led by and serving ethnic minority and global majority communities.
Applicants must have previously received a small National Lottery grant (up to £20,000), unsuccessfully applied to Reaching Communities, and have an annual income below £300,000.
The £4 million programme aims to help organisations grow, strengthen their impact and access larger-scale funding, with between 20 and 30 awards expected to be made in total.
No deadline has been made public by the NLCF, but applicants can expect to receive a decision 21 weeks from submission.
