The Police & Crime Commissioner Community Initiative Fund provides grants up to £2,500 to projects in Derby and Derbyshire.
Applications to this fund must fit specific aims which include:
- The delivery of targeted activity designed to reduce Anti-Social Behaviour and other causes of crime in communities.
- Programmes that focus on education and safeguarding and contribute to reducing Violence against Women and Girls in Derbyshire’s communities.
- Activities that divert vulnerable young people away from risk and the dangers of exploitation as well as becoming involved in criminal activity.
- Projects and activities that will result in a reduction in re-offending.
Type of Project costs funded
- Capital (any items of equipment) although it is unlikely to fund substantial building works.
- Revenue (any non-equipment costs) including ongoing running costs for a project or group.
- One-off events and one-off projects.
