These grants aim to create meaningful change for the Armed Forces community. They support projects with wide reach, new ideas, or strong partnerships working behind them.
The fund welcomes proposals that generate learning, test new approaches, and address key challenges across priority areas, including:
- Building community, connections, relationships and reducing isolation
- Health and wellbeing
- Tackling disadvantage
Strong applications usually:
- Involve partnerships of two or more organisations, with one acting as lead.
- They show how the work will innovate, learn, or improve support for people in need.
- They draw on research, lived experience, or evidence of beneficiaries’ needs.
Applicants must support people in the Armed Forces community and usually apply as part of a partnership. A registered charity or CIC (limited by guarantee) acting as the lead organisation.
The grants support work delivered over 12 to 24 months.
