London North Eastern Railway (LNER) is offering grants between £1,000 to £10,000 for not-for-profit organisations to deliver small to medium sized projects with an annual income of less than £1m. The focus of the fund is to deliver a positive impact for communities within 15 miles of the East Coast mainline route.
The Customer and Community Investment Fund will support projects that address one or more of the following priorities:
Better for People
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Promote positive mental health by bringing people and communities together.
Better for Places
- Creating skilled and inclusive communities along our networks that can thrive.
Better for Planet
- Conserve resources, reduce waste, and reuse where possible.
- Three areas they want to focus on are: Biodiversity, Sustainable Travel, Waste Reduction and the Circular Economy.
The deadline for applications is 31st August 2026 at 11:59pm.
