Community groups and other not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants of up to £3,500 to deliver cycling events to get people back on their bikes this summer.
- The Big Bike Revival Programme will support organisations to deliver a summer programme of activity. The fund is to encourage people who do not currently cycle to consider either starting or returning to cycling. The funder is particularly interested in projects that include:
- people experiencing social, economic and health deprivation,
- people from diverse backgrounds,
- people facing complex challenges.
The funding, which is made available by the Department for Transport, can be spent on anything that supports the delivery of events. This includes staffing, promotional costs, equipment, consumables and volunteer transport.
The deadline for applications is the 14th July 2025.
