Where People Meet – funding for community centres

Active Derbyshire, Active Notts, Funding, News

The Rayne Trust are supporting the development of holistic community centres in underserved areas across the UK to build social capital and enable thriving communities.

With a focus on community-led regeneration projects that deliver social, economic, and environmental benefits, expression of interest applications are encouraged from:

  • multifunctional spaces that support local leadership
  • projects that build social connections and civil society
  • spaces that contribute to positive community outcomes
  • community centres that serve as sources of local pride.

There will be two information webinars to give an overview of the Where People Meet programme and provide answers to questions about the funding itself, and the application process. Click below to register your place:

Expression of interests are open now. The deadline is Monday 6th October 2025.
