UEFA and UK & Ireland 2028 limited have established their Innovation Programme to support projects seeking to create long lasting change through football related projects.
The join initiative is seeking investors to ‘design, test, and validate solutions that enhance the tournament experience while delivering sustainable and lasting benefits for volunteers, communities and tournament stakeholders’.
Selected innovators could receive funds from a programme budget of up to £200,000. Applicants should request proportionate funding, considering scope, maturity, and expected impact of their project/s.
The programme is open to, but not limited to:
- start-ups
- academia,
- non-profits or charities
- research centres
- cross-industry technology providers.
The deadline for applications is Sunday 15th November 2026.
