Active Derbyshire, Active Notts, Funding, News

The Severn Trent Community Fund is providing core funding for organisations in the Severn Trent catchment region that deliver vital community services in order to help them continue their delivery.

Not-for-profit organisations that are urgently in need of funding can apply for restricted grants between £5,000 and £20,000 for one year to support the essential costs that will keep the organisation running. These include:

  • management and administration
  • general office costs, including rent and utilities
  • accountancy and audit
  • fundraising
  • commmunications
  • governance/compliance costs.

Organisations that have received funding in the past include:

  • emergency relief services (e.g., foodbanks)
  • health and medical support
  • housing and homelessness support
  • support for vulnerable population
  • employment and income assistance.

Funding applications open Saturday 1st November and the deadline is Sunday 30th November 2025.
