From 1st July 2026, a new round of Public Health Locality Funding opened through Amber Valley CVS. Alongside this, a Public Health Small Grants allocation and a Children and Young People Grant are now available.
The funding has been allocated by Derbyshire County Council Public Health and will support projects that help reduce health inequalities and improve the health and wellbeing of residents. The grants will contribute to the priorities agreed by the Amber Valley Health and Wellbeing Partnership for 2025–2027.
Grants are up to £3,000 and are available for constituted organisations. Un-constituted groups can apply for awards of up to £150. Successful projects must be completed within one year of receiving funding.
Amber Valley CVS has also announced a ‘Meet the Funder’ event planned for 25th August. This is an opportunity for groups to learn more about the funding programme and application process. See Amber Vally CVS’s website for further details.
Groups interested in applying or seeking funding advice can contact Community Development Worker Glynn Wilton at Amber Valley CVS on 01773 512076 or by email at glynnwilton@avcvs.org
