The Julia Rausing Trust has opened applications for Young Women in Mind 2026–2028. Through this funding programme, it offers large multi-year grants to charities that provide therapeutic mental health support for girls and young women in parts of the UK. The Julia Rausing Trust, the Pilgrim Trust and the Prudence Trust will invest £5 million over three years.
The programme offers grants of £200,000 to £500,000 over three years to established registered charities that already deliver therapeutic mental health services for girls and young women aged 14 to 25. The funders welcome partnership applications.
The funders intend this funding to help organisations strengthen, expand or adapt existing services so more young women can access timely, age-appropriate and gender-informed support before their needs become more severe. Eligible costs include:
- Project costs
- Staff costs and fees
- Advocacy
- Learning and evaluation.
Applicants must register as charities and must have operated for at least three years in certain areas of the country, including the Midlands.
The funders will run a two-stage application process. They will require expressions of interest by 22 June 2026. Stage two applications by 24 August 2026. They expect to make decisions by the end of November 2026.
