Health Data Research UK (HDA UK) will award grants of up to £3,000 to as many as 20 UK community leaders. Successful applicants will design and deliver activities between the 8th February and 20th June 2027 that help communities understand how data can support health and wellbeing while building skills, knowledge and connections.
HDR UK welcomes applications from leaders who work with people from low socioeconomic or minority ethnic backgrounds; young people ages 11-25 or adults over 65, particularly in deprived areas.
Activities must explore data in relation to at least one priority issue: brain health, cancer, environment and health, heart health, sustainable and healthy diets, or young people’s mental health.
Applicants do not need experience in data, science or research, but they must work for an established UK community organisation with an organisational bank account and how that they can champion data in their community.
Deadline is noon on 2nd November 2026.
