The Wildlife Trust, with funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery and Postcode Green Trust, have established the Green Community Grants scheme. Grants of up to £25,000 are available to not-for-profit organisations whose works supports nature recovery, responds to climate emergency, improves nature-rich spaces, or helps more people access their services.
Funds granted can be used for sustainable activities including:
- recycling
- litter picking
- sustainable transport
- other work that helps organisations strengthen their impact.
Priority will be given to groups working in communities within the top 15% of the Index of Multiple Deprivation, with LGBT+ people, and people from ethnic minorities.
The deadline for the latest round is Wednesday 15th July 2026.
