Not-for-profit organisations, including CICs, can apply for grants of £10,000 to £100,000 for healthcare delivery projects planned for 2027. The fund supports healthcare delivery rather than general wellbeing projects.
The fund will support projects that tackle acute conditions, including pre-hospital care, life-saving equipment, training or intervention, and suicide prevention services.
Organisations can also apply for 2027 funding for projects that provide:
- Rehabilitation or aftercare following physical trauma or surgery.
- Projects that promote wellbeing by creating or improving green spaces, protecting urban wildlife habitats, or enhancing underused outdoor areas.
- Oral and dental health outreach, especially projects that provide dental services for people who are homeless, other vulnerable groups, and rural communities.
Eligible projects must help people who struggle to access essential healthcare, including:
- People with rare or under-recognised conditions, as defined by Genetic Alliance UK.
- Children and older people with mobility limitations or post-discharge needs.
- People living in underserved or rural communities.
The fund prioritises projects that support people affected by poverty, isolation, disability or serious health disadvantage. It does not define priority by cultural or identity-based groupings.
Successful organisations must start their projects within 12 months of receiving funding and show that their work will create lasting benefit or meaningful follow-on value.
The Trust will accept applications until 30 June 2027.
