Football Foundation kicks off Here to Play Fund

Grant funding between £1,500 and £25,000 is available through the Lionesses HERe to Play Fund, established by the Football Foundation to support the growth of women’s and girls’ football

Not-for-profit clubs, voluntary groups, charities, CICs, and other organisations are encouraged to apply for funding for items that support providing safe, welcoming, and accessible places for women and girls to play.

Examples of what funds awarded can be used to purchase include:

• Women and girls’ changing spaces (£15,000)
• External lighting (£7,500)
• Baby change facilities (£4,000)
• Lounge furniture (£7,500)
• Cubicle showers (£2,500 per unit)

The Football Foundation will provide successful applicants with 75% of their requested funding, with the remaining 25% funded by the applicant.
