Erewash Voluntary Action Derbyshire County Council Public Health are providing funding to constituted CVS groups, charities, CICs, and other not-for-profit groups to support items of expenditure that will help organisations in their fundraising activities.
Funding is split into two pots, and applicants can apply for up to £1,500 from the Small Grants Fund and Social Connect Funding respectively, and where a project demonstrates a clear focus on social connection and/or reducing isolation, applications may be considered for combined funding of up to £3,000 in total.
Some of the items eligible for purchase with any grants awarded are:
- instructor’s fees for an activity or guest speakers
- facility hire
- marketing and promotions
- equipment hire/purchase
- training fees
- volunteer expenses.
The funding cannot be used to fund revenue or large capital projects such as bridging salaries or building projects.

There is no deadline for the Small Grants applications, but the deadline for Social Connect applications is 1st December 2026.
