Through the Police & Crime Commissioner Community Initiative Fund, Foundation Derbyshire provides grants of up to £2,500 to projects in Derby and Derbyshire aimed at reducing crime, improving safety, and preventing youth involvement in crime.
The fund is designed to support projects that aim to reduce:
- anti-social behaviour and crime,
- raise awareness of the issues and types of violence and abuse against women and girls,
- educate communities of online safety,
- protect women and girls from violence, and
- divert young people from criminal activities,
- and a lot more.
It also supports initiatives to reduce re-offending.
Applications can be submitted at any time; there is no fixed closing date.
