Active Derbyshire, Active Notts, Funding, News

The Tree Council is making grants between £250 and £2,000 available to support community tree planting through their Branching Out fund.

Branching Out funding is granted to support schools, community groups, parish and town councils, and tree warden networks to engage communities and young people in planting trees, hedges, and orchards.

Funds can cover the cost of:

  • trees, hedges, and orchards
  • non-plastic protection and supports
  • peat-free compost and/or soil improvers.

The deadline for applications is 12:00 midnight on 14th of November 2025.

Click here for more information, or email Tree Council’s Grants Officer at geraldine.creaven@treecouncil.org.uk to discuss making an application.
