The Trust offers grants to registered charities and smaller not-for-profit organisations with charitable purposes. Applicants must work in the UK to create positive change in health, lifelong learning, or social care.
The Trust offers grants of up to £10,000. Organisations should apply for no more than 20% of their income from the previous year.
Registered charities across the UK can apply. The Trust gives priority to national applicants with income between £50,000 and £200,000.
The Trust also funds smaller voluntary organisations. These organisations must have income and expenditure below £5,000 per year and must not yet need to register with the Charity Commission.
Applicants do not need to work nationwide. They can run activities in one or more UK locations.
Unregistered organisations with income or expenditure above £5,000 per year cannot apply.
The Trust funds projects that benefit people in the UK. It gives particular emphasis to these themes:
- Health: the Trust supports people and families living with cancer in deprived communities. It funds practical, emotional, and ongoing healthcare support. It prioritises community-based cancer support, rehabilitation, and prevention services that reduce health inequalities.
- Lifelong Learning: the Trust helps young people aged 16–30 from disadvantaged backgrounds gain skills, confidence, and experience. The funding helps them secure employment and build stable, meaningful careers. The Trust prioritises structured skill-building, vocational learning, and transition-to-employment support.
- Social care: the Trust supports children and young people up to age 18 who have experienced rape or sexual abuse. It funds trauma-informed services that provide safety, therapeutic recovery, safeguarding education, and specialist advocacy.
The Trust also looks for projects that improve diversity, equality, and inclusion in the community.
The next application round opens in Q2 2026–27.
