The Big Give has opened applications for its 2026 Women and Girls Match Fund. It invites charities to raise between £500 and £10,000 in public donations. The campaign will match those donations through its 1:1 funding model.
Big Give runs match-funding campaigns that help charities increase fundraising income and supporter engagement. It designed this programme for organisations whose core mission improves the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls.
Eligible applicants must be registered as UK charities, or hold tax-exempt status, and report annual income of at least £5,000.
Big Give will prioritise charities led by Black and minoritised women and girls, LGBTQI women and girls, and Disabled women and girls.
- Charities can request match funding worth up to 10% of their annual income.
- Successful charities receive a ring-fenced match-funding pot, which public donations unlock during the live campaign.
- Big Give treats donations above target as extra, unmatched and potentially unrestricted income.
Applicants must apply by 5pm on 24 June 2026. Big Give will notify successful applicants by 18 August, before the seven-day campaign runs from 6 to 13 October 2026.
