Cash for Kids offers Holiday Hunger Grants to support children and young people up to age 18 who face food insecurity during the school holidays.
Registered charities with an annual turnover of less than £1 million, as well as schools and community, voluntary, youth, or sports groups, can apply if they hold a formal governance document (such as a constitution, articles of association, or club rules and regulations).
Projects must help children eat more healthily and stay more active during the school holidays.
In the current funding round, Cash for Kids accepts applications from all areas except East Yorkshire, Yorkshire Coast, and Lincolnshire. Applicants should check the Cash for Kids website for updates, as opening and closing dates vary by region.
The programme usually awards grants between £1,000 and £3,000.
