The University of Nottingham Sport are seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated Sport Volunteering Delivery Officer, who will develop and implement the delivery of student leadership and personal development through sport and volunteering.

The successful candidate will lead on the development of our students from a Low-Socio Economic background and enhance the support we give them internally through career development, training and mentoring to support the delivery in the community. They will also have a good knowledge of working with school education and higher education sectors and the barriers facing students to engage with volunteering.

Key responsibilities will include recruitment of widening participation students and to manage and deliver a wide range of events and opportunities to reach targeted student audiences. The ability to form and maintain working relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders will be crucial.

You will also be an individual who can work proactively with a high level of initiative, engaging collaboratively with the wider Sport team. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to their working week, noting that some evening and weekend work may be required.

The post is offered on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2025. Hours of work are part time (21.75 hours per week) and working days and hours can be flexible, however this will need to fit around the priorities of the role.
