Driving licence required The School Sport Officer will work across the Derbyshire Dales and High Peak areas; supporting infant, primary, secondary and special schools to deliver an inclusive and enjoyable PE curriculum. The role involves planning and leading all SSP events, festivals and area finals. To source and book festival staff following Anthony Gell School financial regulations. To support the planning of three activity weeks per academic year. Data returns and meeting attendance are integral to this role as well as collaboration with other partnerships and schools. Leading on the delivery of PE lessons in school under the school sport offer as well as supporting the manager to deliver the PE and Sport Plan is a key role. This role is under the employment of Anthony Gell School, managed through the Rural Derbyshire Sport Partnership.
