Key responsibilities will include evaluating the current environment, developing strategic direction and feedback mechanisms as well as the delivery of events and programmes, to enhance the inclusivity of the University’s sporting offer and the experience of black students at Nottingham.
You will have a significant understanding and/or experience of the barriers facing black people in engaging with sport, strong networking skills and be adaptable to meet the needs of students and our inclusive offer. You will also be an individual who can work proactively with a high level of initiative, engaging collaboratively with the wider Sport team. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to their working week, noting that some evening and weekend work may be required.
This position is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2025. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
