Vacancy – School Events Officer Hours – Term Time position, 35 hours per week over 40 weeks. Option for full time, 35 hours per week over 52 weeks. DCCT Grade 4: Salary – £23,805 – £31,050 per annum (FTE) Candidates will normally be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the range Derby County Community Trust has a clear mission. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a committed and passionate individual to join our Schools & Coaching team in the position of School Events Officer. Within this role you will be responsible for developing, delivering and monitoring high quality school events and sessions across a range of sports and activities, creating a school sport offer that meets the needs of affiliated schools and Schools Games outcomes. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years’ experience working within Physical Education/School Sport and will have experience of developing, delivering and evaluating sports projects. A skilled communicator, you will be able to establish and maintain key working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and possess the ability to coach and deliver a wide range of sporting activities to young people. Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills are essential to the requirement for academic year planning, together with a considered and sensible approach to problem solving.
