Fundraising Manager Advert 2023
Income generation: Work in accordance with the fundraising strategy, to generate income
with support from the senior management team.
• Work creatively to identify, develop, and submit funding applications.
• Create opportunities for supporters to fundraise for Boccia England through events
and community fundraising, trading, volunteering, and legacy fundraising.
• Produce a range of resources to support volunteers and others with their fundraising.
• Research and develop corporate fundraising opportunities.
Growing support: Raise the profile of the charity and our need for support amongst key
fundraising audiences and manage relationships to secure and retain support.
• Seek opportunities to raise Boccia England’s profile with new audiences through
targeted communications and networking, to generate new supporters and increase
income.
• Ensure participation in community fundraising by raising awareness of the
opportunities and developing relationships with players, their families and support
networks.
• Build strong relationships with existing and potential grant funders.
• Attend ad hoc fundraising events to support Boccia England fundraisers.
• Ensure up-to-date, high quality, engaging fundraising information is accessible via
Boccia England’s website, newsletters, and social media platforms.
Planning: Develop and deliver a planned annual programme of fundraising activity
• Develop an annual work plan including an appeals and events calendar with support
from mentor and Head of Business Support.
• Research fundraising databases and project manage the implementation of a chosen
platform.
• Provide regular fundraising updates and guidance to inspire and encourage
colleagues to fundraise for the charity.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports and analysis for funders, SMT and the Board.
• Coordinate activity across the wider team to ensure timely reporting to funders and
supporters.

• Use and share knowledge and expertise to promote boccia and develop Boccia
England.
• Be an advocate for Boccia England and the sport of boccia.
