Partnership working and collaboration (internally and externally) is a key priority for the Sport and Leisure Service and we are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to lead and shape the direction of this work. The post holder will manage and develop a broad range of key partnerships, influence and manage projects and initiatives to ensure increased and sustained participation in sport, physical activity, and health initiatives both within our leisure facilities and the wider community. With annual visitors of over 2million, 11,000 Fitness Members, 5000 Swim School Members across our 6 Leisure Centres, together with a host of UK Active, APSE, QUEST and ROSPA Awards, Active Nottingham is one of the most successful in-house operators across in the UK. Our vision for Nottingham is to offer a viable, sustainable, and inclusive Sport, Leisure and Sport and Physical Activity Service that meets the needs of our residents and provides opportunities for everyone. The post holder will act as a focal point, championing existing partnership and project work and attracting and developing new national, regional and local partnerships and projects that deliver best value to our residents and communities. The ideal candidate will have: · Experience of working in Partnership and managing significant projects role within Sport and Leisure, or a Community, Voluntary Organisation, or related field. · Ability to analyse priorities and key influences, work successfully with partners, and translate into effective delivery of sport and physical activity programmes, projects, and initiatives. · Evidence of working successfully in partnership across different sectors, building and maintaining good working relationships. · Experience of interpreting insight data, attendance and utilisation statistical figures and performance management information to guide future project planning, programming, and new developments to improve services.
