Learn to Nordic Walk using specially designed Nordic Walking poles, which enhance your natural walking, to give you a highly effective whole body workout that doesn’t feel like one.
If you can walk, you can Nordic walk. It can be enjoyed at all intensity levels, low, medium or high. There are many benefits to Nordic walking including improved posture, reduced neck & shoulder tension, higher calorie burn, reduced impact on your joints. The use of the poles means that the effort is shared between the upper and lower body making it feel much easier than walking without poles.
Every walk takes place outside surrounded by nature which is great for our mental health too.
Once you have learned the basic technique, you will be able to join any of my regular classes. There are currently 2 per week on a Tuesday and Thursday morning in Ilkeston.
Sessions for complete beginners take place after the regular class. Individual and group sessions are available on request.
