Talking Space – Microaggressions

Training specialists, Communities Inc, will lead this 90 minute session to introduce microaggressions. We’ll be exploring the early, and sometimes unconscious expressions of what could become prejudice, discrimination and hate if not tackled.
We will have the opportunity to consider this within our work to enable people and communities to move more by better understanding of the different types of microaggressions and their manifestations; learning about strategies to address them in a non-confrontational way and increasing our confidence in identifying and responding to microaggressions.
