We will be holding a one day teacher Parkour CPD course, that is being run by Parkour UK (National Governing Body) on Friday 24th February at Tuxford Academy Marnham Rd, Tuxford, Newark NG22 0JH from 9 am to 5pm – this can be for both Primary (KS2) and Secondary staff.

About the Course

1 -Day practical course covering the foundation aspects of teaching Parkour in a schools context.

The course includes a resource pack covering the content and can be flexible to the age and context of your pupils.

This includes a 12-week syllabus plan and floor layouts

There are variants of the booklets (Primary & Secondary)

Awarding body – 1st4Sport

Prerequisites for Learners

Qualified Teacher / NQT / Ongoing PGCE or equivalent

No previous Parkour experience or knowledge required

The course is quite practical, we heavily encourage taking part. However, this is not a requirement for completion

The course costs £95 per person

The course will be being run in a standard gym hall P.E space with 2 vaults, mats and benches. Some of the course may also take place outside using the venue’s existing architecture.
