An opportunity to understand how outdoor spaces can help our communities to be active.
National and local partners will set the scene on what the barriers are for people using open space and how we can overcome this through a shift in how we think about the offer, the design and the engagement we undertake when providing new facilities.
The workshop will also launch the ‘Creating Safe and Active Outdoor Spaces’ framework which will enable parks and green spaces to be safe and attractive for being active.
The workshop will focus on supporting girls, women, disabled people, those with long term health conditions and our culturally diverse communities who are less likely to be active in outdoor spaces.
Registrations for this workshop have now closed. Please contact katie.crockett@activepartnerstrust.org.uk to check for availability.
