Walking with poles [ Nordic Walking]. Easy to learn, great for posture, balance, heart fitness, relieving joint and back pain, arm strength, core fitness and general mental and physical health.
Informal group, walks varied in length and difficulty and venue depending on who is attending, normally Whaley Bridge but have been to other areas of High Peak [Buxton / New Mills / Hayfield / Lyme Park, and even Longshaw Estate near Sheffield!] .
Organised through Watts App. No need to come every week – very flexible. Poles loaned out during and between walks if available. Can walk without poles if preferred.
