This full day course is for sports coaches and community-based coaches/leaders to enable neuro diverse participants to be fully included in sport and physical activity sessions. Neuro Diversity is an umbrella term for Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Autism and ADHD amongst others.

The day will be a mixture of theory and practical elements and will provide guidance and tips on what adaptions can be made for more inclusive sessions and welcome more young, neuro diverse people into your sessions.

Attendees will receive a physical toolkit and help you shape sessions to cater for neuro diverse participants. The course also includes a short feedback review after 8 weeks to understand how the learning has been useful and utilised in delivery of sessions, to shape further sessions and to inform adaptions of future courses.

The training day has been fully subsidised by Active Notts, but please note that a refundable deposit of £50 is payable on booking and secure a space which will be returned after attendance on the course date and 8 week post course review submission.

The course is limited to 20 people and 1 attendee per club or community group and on a first come, first serve basis. Please register any interest here once the course is fully booked and you will be placed on a waiting list or be notified as priority on future courses.
