The LGBT+ Get Active Fund, funded by the London Marathon Foundation, has opened applications from UK grassroots groups that help LGBT+ communities take part in sport and physical activity.
Organisations can apply for £5,000 to £25,000 a year. One-year projects can receive up to £25,000, while two-year projects can receive up to £50,000.
Applicants must be UK-based, non-profit organisations led by and for LGBT+ people. They must have operated for at least six months and regularly deliver sport or physical activity, either now or within the past three years.
The fund defines physical activity broadly, including activities such as hiking, football, dance, gardening, skateboarding and circus skills. It will prioritise groups supporting LGBT+ people who face additional barriers to participation.
The fund expects high demand and says only a limited number of larger grants will be available. Applicants can submit an online form or apply in writing or by video. The Giving team can also support applicants by phone.
Applications close at 12 noon on Wednesday 4 November 2026.
