First impressions matter. From the moment someone walks through the door, joins their first session or signs up as a member, how welcome they feel can shape their whole experience of your club.

Our Warm Welcomes Workshop explores ways clubs can create a positive, inclusive experience for members – for day one and throughout their journey.

We’ll explore:

What makes people feel welcome, included and listened to
The potential barriers that can affect someone’s experience of joining and participating
How clubs can better understand the experiences of their members
Participant voice and how clubs can involve children, young people and adults in shaping the club
Real examples of how clubs have gathered feedback and used it to improve their members’ experience
Practical ideas and strategies that can be put into place straight away

This is an opportunity to step back and think about your club through the eyes of your members – what does it feel like to join, participate and belong?

Whether you are looking to attract new members, improve retention or simply create a club culture where everyone feels valued, this workshop will provide ideas, inspiration and practical approaches to help you create warm welcomes and better experiences for everyone.
