FA opens Faith and Football Fund for Community Projects

Active Derbyshire, Active Notts, Funding, News

The Football Association has launched its new Faith and Football Fund, opening applications for locally led projects that use football to build engagement, inclusion and community cohesion.

County FAs, grassroots and semi-professional clubs, leagues, and faith organisations can apply. Applicants must have a track record of delivering social, community or sport-related projects.  Projects should also align with the County FA where they’ll take place.

The fund supports football engagement sessions, education programmes, training and awareness initiatives, and activities for women and girls of faith. Applicants must deliver projects in England and complete them by 31 December 2027 or before.

The deadline for applications is 25th September 2026.

The FA will hold a dedicated information and awareness webinar at 10am on Friday 11th September 2026. The webinar will explain the fund, the application process and what makes a strong project.
