Foundation Derbyshire will hold its second and final 2026 Funding Support Day on Tuesday 22 September 2026. Visit the Foundation Derbyshire offices for bespoke 1:1 support from the Grants team. You can also join the online Unlocking Philanthropy Workshop. The workshop shows how to craft bids with Foundation Derbyshire’s specific donors in mind.
1:1 Sessions
Applicants can book a 30-minute 1:1 session with a Foundation Derbyshire grants officer. Each session gives applicants time to discuss their project at Foundation Derbyshire’s offices in Belper. Sessions start at 9:00am and run until 4:30pm. To book a slot, email hello@foundationderbyshire.org
Online Workshop
The online Unlocking Philanthropy Workshop explores donors’ motives and decision-making when they review applications. The workshop lasts one hour, from 10:30am to 11:30am. Participants will reflect on real feedback from family and individual donor panel meetings. Assistant Director Sarah Stainthorpe will lead the session. By the end, applicants will understand how to hone bids for this audience.
