Here are two grants worth knowing about if your charity needs a digital upgrade.

The Fat Beehive Foundation offers grants of up to £2,500

The Fat Beehive Foundation offers grants of up to £2,500 to charities with an annual turnover under £1 million, specifically to help them build or improve digital tools that support their work.

Grants are awarded twice a year, with decisions made following trustee meetings in April and October.

The Clothworkers’ Foundation capital grants up to £15,000 and beyond

The Clothworkers’ Foundation runs an Open Grants Programme offering capital funding to small and medium-sized charities working with disadvantaged and marginalised communities. Unlike many digital specific funders, their scope is broader.  Their funding covers buildings, vehicles and equipment as well as digital infrastructure such as apps, databases and websites.

Small grants of up to £15,000 make up the majority of awards, though larger grants above that threshold are also made.  Competition is strong with only 28% of organisations that passed the initial eligibility check went on to receive funding in 2025.
