The Derbyshire Forest Games, Notts Forest Games, and Nottinghamshire Summer Games have been held.

The Derbyshire Forest Games saw 12 schools and more than 100 children and young people taking part in a range of activities such as archery and orienteering at Lea Green Learning and Development Centre.

Meanwhile the Notts Forest Games were held at Sherwood Pines, giving young people the chance to try a range of activities including tree nets, disc golf, soft archery, and a scavenger nature walk.

The events were a chance for young people to experience being physically active in nature and build confidence and resilience by trying something new.

The Nottinghamshire Schools Summer Games were also held, with the event all about giving young people the chance to represent their school and achieve their personal best.

Young people took part in a range of activities at Harvey Hadden Sports Village, including dodgeball, indoor rowing, golf, curling and sports hall athletics.
