North-East Derbyshire District Council offers small grants to help local groups run community consultations in the Three Pits Pride in Place area.
The funding supports participation in the Three Pits survey and other engagement work. This work will shape priorities and investment decisions over the next 10 years. It also supports early project ideas and a resident-led Neighbourhood Board.
- Who can apply: Community groups, clubs, and organisations in the Three Pits Pride in Place area can apply. Public sector organisations, including schools and parish councils, can also apply. Applicants should have a formal constitution, suitable governance, and a bank account with at least two unrelated signatories. A constituted body can sponsor applicants without a constitution.
- Where: The grant supports the Three Pits Pride in Place area, covering Grassmoor, Holmewood, North Wingfield, and Tupton in North-East Derbyshire.
- How much: The scheme offers £100 for passive consultations and up to £5,000 for proactive consultations.
- What it can fund: The grant funds consultation costs for members and the wider community, including Three Pits Pride in Place survey activity.
- What it will not fund: The grant will not fund core running costs, equipment already purchased, individual grants, political activity, exclusively religious activity, or permanent staff recruitment.
Applicants must complete consultation activity by 6 September 2026.
