After popular demand, Nottinghamshire County Council have two new training sessions available FREE for grassroots groups, small charities, or those just getting started in community work. The aim of the sessions is to give fundraisers practical tools and confidence to move their ideas forward.
Both workshops will cover the following topics:
- What is Grant Funding? Explanations of grant funding, different sources, and key benefits.
- Preparing to Apply. Understanding eligibility criteria and creating a funding strategy.
- Finding the Right Grants. Research tools, databases, and live demonstration of Grant Finder.
- Crafting a Strong Application. Writing techniques, structuring responses, and using AI for grant applications.
- Common Mistakes & Tips for Success. Practical advice to avoid pitfalls and improve application quality.
