Today Activity Alliance are excited to announce the release of our updated Access for All guide!

Designed to support local activity providers, Access for All provides practical examples of how to ensure spaces and places are inclusive for disabled people. It particularly focuses on low cost, affordable changes for those with limited financial budgets.

We have worked with accessibility and inclusion specialist Jean Hewitt at Buro Happold alongside a range of expert organisations to update the document, which was originally released in 2015. The updated guidance now includes advice for activities in sport and community venues, green and blue spaces, such as parks and lakes. It complements Sport England’s Accessible and inclusive sport facilities guidance released in August 2024.

You can find out more and download the guide from Activity Alliance’s news story Updated guidance shares ways make places and spaces accessible
