The B&Q Foundation provide grants for a wide range of charities. Charities which are looking for funding to improve or develop spaces that benefit their local communities.
B&Q work with the team at Neighbourly to make the application process as easy as possible.
They focus on funding charities that support people who are most in need because of homelessness, financial hardship, sickness, disability, or other disadvantage.
The types of projects supported include improvements such as decorating, fixing roofs, refurbishment of garden space, upgrading key fixtures and fittings, and creating new buildings or rooms.
Grants of up to £10,000 are awarded to charities who are creating or improving spaces so that more people in our communities have a place to feel at home. They will generally support with funding of up to £10k for building or indoor projects and £5k for garden projects.
Due to the volume of applications it can take up to 2 months after the deadline to be notified with the outcome.
