Building effective relationships and partnerships the postholder(s) will help to identify and support key members of the community to act as leaders and motivators in encouraging people to increase movement and engage in parks/green space related initiatives.
The successful candidate will also be required to represent The Alliance at meetings with internal and external stakeholders i.e. service users, other Council services, clients, consultants, contractors and other working groups therefore strong advocacy, interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
There are two positions available covering both Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and High Peak Borough Council and although the work would be mainly geographically focused, at times the successful candidate(s) may be required to work across The Alliance area.
