New film shows how pupils are being supported to move more

Active Derbyshire, News, Support Others

A new film is now available which shows how Brackenfield SEND School in Long Eaton has been using Opening School Facilities (OSF) funding to support its pupils to move more in ways that work for them.

The film includes interviews with the school’s Headteacher Trish Turner and Pathway Lead Peter Csizmadia, as well as pupils, parents and activity leaders.

It shows how the school used pupil voice to inform which activities to offer, such as yoga, Kin-ball, cricket and cycling, and how these activities are having a positive impact on the young people.
