Provided by the National Forest Company, the Forest Society Grants aim to fund new ways of supporting the health and wellbeing of residents and communities within the National Forest.
The programme will engage new and diverse audiences, increase participation and use local woodlands to connect with nature.
Four or five grants of between £2,000 and £4,000 are available.
Businesses, voluntary and community groups, creative organisations, artists, charities, social enterprises and community interest companies can apply.
Activities must be carried out within the National Forest boundary, which covers parts of Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire.
The deadline for submission of applications is 19 February 2024 (17:00).
