The LTA Tennis Foundation want to partner with other organisations including charities CICs, schools and colleges and local authorities to help them deliver their vision of ‘tennis opened up’ and implement their mission of ‘improving lives through tennis’.
The total funding pot is £1m in 2023 which is focused across three grant making themes:
Innovate: with awards between £5,000 and £50,000 for up to 2 years. The focus of this theme is on innovative projects to engage people who are more likely to experience inequalities of access.
Scale: with awards between £10,000 and £100,000 per annum for up 3 years to to help scale up a project that has proven to work that improves lives through tennis. The focus of this theme is on innovative projects to engage people who are more likely to experience inequalities of access.
These themes primarily support revenue, rather than capital projects.
Recover: this theme is only open to tennis charities with awards between £5,000 and £25,000 either as a grant or loan, for up to 1 year.
The deadline for the second round is 10th September 2023.
