Introduction to Social Investment Funding through the Key Fund

Active Derbyshire, Active Notts, Funding, News

On Thursday 13th February, Tom Bostock from the Key Fund joined us to share information about their funding opportunities for Social Enterprises.  Social Enterprises are community organisations which can sell products or services where any profits are reinvested in their organisation to continue making a social impact.  This can include Community Interest Companies (CIC), Charitable Incorporated Organisations and other community organisations.

A 22 minute recording of the session can be found on YouTube: https://youtu.be/xNzCQXtmHe8

The funding opportunities Tom discussed included the Northern Impact Fund 2 which provides finance to support the development or growth of trading activity, with investments up to £150K.  Other funding opportunities through the Key Fund include the Flexible Finance Fund, the Regional Growth Fund and the Energy Resilience Fund.

More information about the Key Fund can be found here.
